Akay Group has gathered together with all of its employee’s, board members and families to celebrate its 50th year in Nirvana Cosmopolitan.

Anniversary celebration has started with a cocktail in a hall decorated with Akay Group brands’, followed by seated audience in a gala room for dinner and awards.

Awards have been given to founder Akay Okudur, chairman of the board Ethem Okudur and 10 year appreciation plaque’s have been given to the ones who have passed working that many years. Raffle’s have been organized and prizes have been given to winners.

After award ceremony and raffle, the dinner has started and continued alongside with a concert performed by famous singer Murat Alpsu and his band. The fun continued with an after party later on.

Akay Group stated its deep apprecation for its partners and employees in order to achieve this success story and get past 50+ years in this sector ; With a hope to continue together fruitfully for many more years, we are thankful to every one of you.

Out of over 11.000 agencies, Akay Group has entered into top 5 with both awards with Akay Travel Service being 5th and Fit Holidays being 4th.

Regarding the 50th anniversary, Chairman of Akay Group Mr. Ibrahim Ethem Okudur made below announcement ;

“2022 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of our company, Akay Travel Service. This is half a century and I myself  have been living each  period of this time,like movie of my life. Numerous number of awards have been given by industry organizations and providers. And our esteemed partners, while we were overcoming these milestones together, every difficulty we have experienced has been instrumental in the development of our relations  and it has been possible to achieve common success in this way. Akay Travel has hosted Novaturas and its most succesful agencies in Antalya.

Gala dinner has been organised for senior management of Novaturas and partner sales agencies. Pioneers from Antalya Tourism sector and protocol members has attended to the event happened in Gloria Golf Resort.

General Manager of Akay Travel, Mr. Ethem Okudur mentioned that they have been welcoming tourists from Baltics since 1996. Mr. Okudur also stated “Novaturas which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year is the leader tour operator of the Baltic Countries and we are happy to host Novaturas and its best agencies here in Antalya”

Ethem Okudur continued as, “We have prepared well for 2020 and Novaturas will keep his leader position. In 2016-2017 when the Russians could not travel to Turkey and Turkish tourism was suffering harsh days Novaturas even increased its capacity. Which shows that Baltic Market is not a friend of good day only, but a friend stood by your side on your dark days as well”

Deputy Governer, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism,  President of Kemer Promotion Foundation, President of Alanya Touristic Hoteliers Association, Vice President of Mediterrenan Touristic Hoteliers Association has attended to the gala event and gave speeches.

FIT Holidays is exclusive partner of Kompas Travel for whole Antalya operation, target is 500.000 passenger !

Statement made by Fit Holidays announced that exclusivity has been made with Kompas Travel which is one of the highest volume making operators in Kazakhistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

From now on Fit Holidays and Kompas Travel will work exclusively and Fit Holidays will take over all the ground handling of Kompas in Antalya.

Launching had been made in Almaty regarding this agreement. Director of Board of Fit Holidays, Ethem Okudur has stated that “From 2020 to 2025 Fit Holidays will exclusively will be in charge of in all Antalya operations”

Mr. Okudur also pointed “Multiple partner business model is not efficient on every destination and with proven trust, exclusivity will easen and fasten the way to reach their goals and reach healthier growth. Mr. Okudur mentioned that as Akay Group of Companies they are expecting 500.000 passenger to Antalya in 2019.

Over 600 agencies have attended to launching in Almaty.
